I am an accredited certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and health coach through the American Council on Exercise (ACE).  I have had the opportunity to live all over the United States and train with some of the best in the industry.  It is my goal to continually stay at the top, learning from the best in order to provide the best service I can to our Yooper Fit athletes.  

I have trained clients of different ages and abilities, and I truly enjoy it all. I have a deep desire to help anyone that wants to live a healthy life. I want to be a source of encouragement, accountability, and security as I help you on your fitness journey. 

I also love working with youth. I believe that fitness is fun, and we need to teach this to our children by making it enjoyable. For those that want to play sports, I understand the importance of training them to have a strong foundation to keep them confident, flexible, and injury-free.

I want you to know, that no matter your fitness goals, I would love the opportunity to sit down with you and see if we would be a good fit.

Josh Nodurft

Owner and Personal Trainer

I served as a United States Marine for 20 years. I have trained in every climb and place. From the desert of Iraq to the frozen mountains of South Korea. I have hiked countless miles with all my gear on my back, I have started training at 2 am and I have finished training at 2 am. My goal is to bring all these experiences together to benefit you.

During my time as a Marine, I physically prepared countless Marines for the rigors of combat. I loved the process and I loved watching Marines gain physical strength and mental toughness. After retiring from the Marines Corps, I knew I wanted to continue to train people.


It doesn’t matter if it is a small group, one on one session or I am working with youth I have a few principles I follow. One, you are not competing with anyone but yourself, “it’s you versus you!” Remember someone will always be stronger than you. Two, your safety is more important than results. I will do everything I can to ensure your training fits the needs of your body, taking into consideration any limitations you may have. Lastly, your session should be hard, but no so hard you never come back. You can’t get results in a day, it takes time to achieve your goals and I will be there to encourage you every step of the way.
